Scott Burton's life is a testament to his deep ties to Eastern New Mexico. Celebrating 30 years of marriage to Tawnya, they've raised two sons, Kaull and Teagan, who've embraced an entrepreneurial path. Born and bred in San Jon, Scott has spent the last 25 years tending to a herd of around 100 cows, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to agriculture in the Elida area. Over two decades ago, he founded a trucking company, initially to support the family farming venture, which then expanded into successful cattle transport. His 23-year journey in auctioneering with Bill Johnston Auctioneers has taken him to various stages, where he generously lends his skills to support youth, charities, and fundraising events.

In addition to his agricultural endeavors, Scott has contributed to his community through public service. He served as a Roosevelt County Commissioner for four years and dedicated over two decades to the Elida Municipal School board. Fourteen years ago, he ventured into real estate, enhancing his ability to serve the community in new ways. Scott Burton stands as a pillar of strength, dedication, and community commitment in Eastern New Mexico, making a lasting and positive impact in every endeavor he undertakes.

Kristy Artery Associate Broker

Kristy Artery is joining our team with over 20 years of experience in the mortgage loan business. She started as a loan processor in Albuquerque and worked her way up to become a mortgage loan broker in Clovis. Her next step in real estate was obtaining her Title Producer’s license, which allowed her to help people close on their dream homes. To round out her expertise in real estate, she also holds her Associate Broker's license.

Kristy now resides in Conchas Dam, New Mexico, where she enjoys lake life and spending time with her family. She has four sisters and jokes about growing up with five moms. In her free time, you’ll find her playing with her grandkids, fishing, or both!

Malina Barber-Regier Virtual Office Assistant

Malina Barber-Regier was born and raised in Salina, KS, and in 2014, she made the move to Manhattan, KS to study journalism and mass communcations at Kansas State University. Having a life-long interest in and knack for written and verbal communication, as well as a love for the uprising social media platforms, it made her decision to pursue this degree a no-brainer.

Malina wrapped up her collegiate career in the summer of 2018. Instead of immediately jumping into the job force, she packed her bags and moved to Queensland, Australia on a year-long working holiday visa. Within the 12 months of overseas residency, in addition to six weeks of European travel, Malina took a deep dive into the lives and cultures of many different individuals around the world, as well as finally putting her many years of Spanish to good use.

In her various roles since settling back into life in America, she's gained experience with social media management, website construction, SEO, email marketing and much more. Malina has a passion for effective communication and helping businesses grow.
